I cannot believe that school is almost out! Before things get too crazy in the summer I want to give you all the information that you need about what is coming up. Just so you are clear, all classes will remain at the same times through June 15th just as they are right now. Nothing in the schedule will change times until after June 18th. Summer schedule Session 1 will begin on Monday June 25th and we will be at Stone Gate Center for the Arts. We are so excited for this! Thank you to all those who have already registered. There are still spaces left, but to get the classes you want, you should register soon! You can still register online for both summer sessions and fall classes at timpschoolofdance.blogspot.com, or call Heidi at
801-602-9196 and she can help you. You can also send Heidi an email at timpschoolofdance@gmail.com with your daughter’s name, which classes she would like to be in, and your contact information and Heidi will sign them up from there. The $15 registration fee for Fall Session will be added to your account and due when you register. There is no registration fee for Summer Session.
Reminder… the $60 performance fee (per family) will be charged to your account and will be due with tuition this month. Remember there will be no ticket cost for the performance. Bring as many people as you can for an evening of fun! And you will also get a professional copy of the DVD of the performance! We are still asking that there be NO personal videotaping the performance!

MONDAY JUNE 18- BEATLES MANIA!!!
Our goal is always to make this day less complicated and a great experience for your children. We have a very limited time to run dress rehearsal, so please make sure your child is there a little early. If we start running behind a little bit, please know that we are doing everything in our power to keep us on track. If you have concerns please let me know. Please look at the chart below to find you child’s picture time, dress rehearsal time, and hair, tight and shoe information. Remember… all tights need to be footed unless otherwise specified. You can get tights and shoes at The Glass Slipper in American Fork and they know exactly what color we are wanting. Just let them know that you are with Timpanogos School of Dance and they will give you a discount also!
In addition to the schedule below, there is a MANDATORY Finale Practice from 4:00-4:30 and a MANDATORY Dress Rehearsal from 4:30-til finished. Combo classes can go home after the Finale Practice, however, if they could stay for the Dress Rehearsal, we would love them there for run through!
Dancers need to arrive at American Fork High School dressed and ready to perform at 7:00pm. Beatles Mania starts at 7:30pm.
A FEW REMINDERS…
Please mark all of your child’s costumes, shoes, etc. with their names.
Please make sure your daughter doesn’t have any gum in her mouth, and remind her to tuck in her laces and smile!
Please have your child in performing make-up. This includes blush, eyeshadow, mascara and lip stick. Make-up does not need to be dark, but it will really make their features stand out when they are on stage. A light pink blush, light purple eyeshadow and a pink or red toned lip stick work well.
Please make sure your daughter’s hair is curly if it is supposed to be curly. Also, if your daughter has two classes that say different hair dos, just have her wear it like it is supposed to be for her ballet and jazz class or combo class. Don’t worry about changing hair!
Please remember to make sure your children attend their classes each week. It is important so that they can learn and clean their dances!
